Position:          Loss Prevention Officer

Location:         Christchurch

 

 

This position will suit a guard with an eye for detail.

The position details:

  • Retail security/ Loss prevention (training will be provided) This is not just standing in one location as you will be required to walk around the store.

  • Proven security training, provide details

  • Covid 19 Mask wearing requirements

  • Assisting staff and management when required

  • Excellent communication skills with all shoppers

  • Verbally communicating clearly with shoppers

  • Keeping an eye open for potential theft of product

  • Able to approach potential shop lifters in a calm manner

  • Issuing of trespass notices and the laws around this, we will train you on details

  • Handwriting skills. Able to complete “clearly” incident reports in detail.


Discrete Security Provide:

  • Training in all aspects of the position, verbally and physical if required

  • Security vest / Jacket


Role:

  • Day shift only between the hours of 9am to 6pm

  • 2 day a week will vary to suit

  • Casual contract

  • Currently 6-hour shifts but may change to more hours depending of Omicron requirements.


You need to provide:

  • Copy of COA (Certificate of Approval)

  • References from previous employers

  • Training experience (Preferred)

  • Proof of 3 Vaccines jabs

  • White shirt/black pants
